Global Knowledge named
"Citrix CALC of the Year 2009" for Southern Europe
On November 10 at the Citrix Partner Summit
09 in Munich, in the presence of training distributors and partners
in EMEA, Global Knowledge France was awarded again the award of the
"CALC of the Year "for 2009 and the Southern European region.
CALC is the name of the program reserved
for authorized organizations, Certified Citrix Authorized Learning
Centers. Global Knowledge, the largest privately held provider of
IT training in Europe, delivers already for over 10 years certified
Citrix training.
"This award reflects the best
performance and compliance with CALC program rules" said
Catherine Taquet (photo), who is in charge of relations with
vendors and partners at Global Knowledge. "The CALC program
rules mentioned concern among others our involvement in the
preparation and certification of our instructors, the use of the
official supporting tools as well as the evaluation tool used for
training students"
Despite a drop in the training market that
Citrix experienced this year across Europe, Global Knowledge has
ridden the wave of virtualization solutions from the publisher
(XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, etc..) and retains its leading role
in France with a market share of 30.7%.
