Key concepts of business continuity and practical application use of these products will be addressed.

This course is intended for any person who will:
- Manage and administrate Symmetrix-based local data replication using the TimeFinder suite of products in z/OS environments.
- Architect and position mainframe business continuity customer solutions using TimeFinder applications.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Describe and demonstrate the benefits, architecture and management of the ResourcePak Base Symmetrix Control Facility in z/OS environments
- Describe and demonstrate TimeFinder management operations, including TimeFinder/Mirror, TimeFinder Snap Facility and TimeFinder Utility. Including multiple BCV and concurrent BCV functions.
- Describe the architecture and operations of Resource Pak Extended.
- Explain important host considerations for successful implementations of local replication solutions such as TimeFinder in z/OS environments
- Identify key EMC business continuity solutions services and tools.
